BUT, I remember Mike Muir in an interview singner of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES best band ever saying about Pantera back in the day ( been there done that!) like they were just copying others ands he was so right lol and to be honest now and at the time I remember quite well agreeing with that statement even if yes I liked the album but had heard many stuff like it before. like oh say Crumsuckers, Nuclear Assault, Cryptic Slaugther, Cro mags, The Accused, M.O.D, Agnostic Front, Sacred Reich, D,R,I, Havok, Death, Possessed, Obituary, Venom, Entombed, Sodom, Carcass, Sepultura, Anthrax, Testament, Exodus, Armored Saint, Kreator lol just naming a few here hehehe shall I go on???. people who think they were inovaters are plain ignorant! dont even try to tell me different you will be wasting your time. Now i don't normally pick the low hanging fruit, and i don't agree that Lars is shit so this is not one of those times. But I'm honest, and I just know that Lars did this! Im sure nobody else in the band wanted to go this fast, but Lars got carried away, came in too fast and pissed everyone else right off!

You can tell he puts a lot of effort into fitting in and getting those guys to like him. If I was him I probably would have left much sooner. James and lars seemed like complete douchebags back in the day.

something about jason's face it just makes me think of metallica like it fits the theme. I think when I was a kid and didn't know anything about the band members and all that (internet was still sort of up and coming) when I heard metallica, and then I saw a certain pic of the band, I thought he was the lead singer lol...he just had this look to him that matched the sound of james' voice. Idk how to explain it, dude just really looked like he belonged in that band.

When you neglect your car. Not fixing things when they break. Before long you end up with a piece of crap hooptie. Same with your body . Same with your teeth. Same with your home. Phil's back wasn't messed up because of his job singing. It was because of all that twisting, jumping around and having a fit on stage. When he could have just stepped off stage during the instrumental parts. Or not danced like a little kid throwing a fit. The 90's were crazy fun. I'm surprised my back isn't screwed up all the shows. I had my share of crazy fun, living only 90 miles east of Pantera. When it was time to go home, I was ready. Party till your soul hits the floor and we got it, while the getting was good. Lets face it, its not like that now and those kind of days are so long gone. The story of Pantera, is a valuable lesson for every band or relationship. Phil's plea's for forgiveness fall on deaf ears after w3hat happened to Dime

I miss Jason's love and enthusiasm for the metal.

A lot of those older clips with James..... back before he tried to be wize and zen with every interview. He used to be more relaxed. Maybe it was the booze, but he just seems so rigid now.

With what he said about losing someone. It’s not about the story, it’s about how we process it. 2 people can go through the same or similar thing and see/feel it very differently. So if someone says they know what you’re going through, most of the time they don’t because they are not you.

It’s often emotional. Generally people who have held back emotions to the max for a while end up with more physical pain because their body stores the stress/trauma as they don’t let it out and many bury it with booze and drugs. The body and mind are so connected. An obvious example is how your posture changes when feeling down compared to feeling great. And if posture changes then different muscles hold more tension,movement changes etc. Another obvious example is when you are afraid or anxious then you piss more. But most practitioners only work on the structure when it comes to pain. Instead of both the structure and releasing where they’re storing their emotional pain at the same time as the physical corrections.
